The Joy of Schooling Shows

by Editor on November 19, 2009

I covered a local combined training schooling show this past fall and was thrilled to see an exceptional turnout.  Many riders, both novice and expert, enjoyed a day of mellow, fun schooling rides.  From the lifetime rider on her six-digit warmblood to the little girl on her pony riding in her first show, everyone had a good time.

I think that the atmosphere is what makes schooling shows such a valuable tool for riders of all ages and experience levels.  An ability to experience the thrills and adrenaline of competition with out the high costs and stress of recognized shows is becoming more and more invaluable for riders.

A big thanks to those across the world who help create a positive schooling show environment.  Keep it up!
