Creeping Towards Spring

by Editor on May 5, 2010

Here in the north country we are oh-so-slowly creeping towards spring.  Although the calendar says May, it has felt like early March and everyone is ready for some sunshine and temperatures that dare venture above fifty.

This picture of the Yellowstone River in the lower Paradise Valley captures early spring in Montana – somewhat stark and rather chilly.  Snow is beginning to melt and the sage is showing the barest hints of greening up, but the real “green” is a long way off.

Apologies for the shorter posts of late; some personal changes plus lack of inspiration with all the grey weather have conspired to keep me away from the camera.  Some new spring work will start showing up in the upcoming weeks… never fear!
