Pretty much, lots of chatting, lots of schmoozing and a whole lot of assimilating the East Coast fishing culture.

(As was New Jersey itself!) I drove down with some of the Orvis Rod & Tackle crew, and we met up with more once at the show, but I had plenty of time to split off and do my own exploring… and it was fascinating.
