The Fly Fish Journal: Guarding Drift Boats, Stealing Hearts

by Fire Girl Jess on September 10, 2014

IMG_3691IMG_3692I was excited to see this piece come to life in the new issue of The Fly Fish Journal. From the creative side of things, nothing beats a piece where I have the chance to combine both writing and photography.

Thanks to the gang over at TFFJ, as always, for the stellar support. Keep an eye out for more in the future!

And huge thanks to ever-bouncy Jake and his equally bouncy stray-come shop dog-come fishing buddy Marley. Any day on the water with these two is a good one, and they’re both pretty damn good in front of the camera.

More great memories from last season spent on projects on Montana’s Missouri River.
