The snow was heavy, almost white-out conditions at times, but I waited until the weather broke slightly and was able to capture this view. I love the lines of the hills, the trees following along the riverbed, and the bison calmly foraging. Monochrome tones suit particularly well in weather like this and tend to lend more texture to the image.
