follow The Lumix Festival for Young Photojournalism, which made its famous debut in 2008, is now accepting entries for the 2010 event.  Held in Hannover, Germany 16-20 June 2010, the event is a gathering place for young photojournalists from around the world.  Showcasing the sixty best entries from photojournalists under the age of 35, the event also is home to the famed FreeLens Award for Young Photojournalism (prize money of EUR 10,000 and a 30 cm high bronze statue.)

source A popular educational event as well, the Lumix Festival for Young Photojournalism features eight of the world’s best photojournalists, who will be speaking over the course of the four-day event.  Groups and school classes are invited to attend and take advantage of guided tours through the festival.  The Lumix Festival for Young Photojournalism promises to be a gathering place of fascinating people, moving work, and big ideas.
