source Made it back to Austin last night.  The Rockport area made for a challenging photography trip this time – exceedingly flat lighting and rainy weather made for some difficult shooting conditions.  I’m uploading images now and am hoping that getting creative on site will have paid off.

https://reggaeportugal.com/8luqnsw1p This image is one that caught my eye.  The Great Egret was chillin’ out a shimper moored in one of the marinas and seemed perfectly happy to just relax and watch the activity around him.  His choice of a resting place was next to one of the busiest bait stalls in the area and I had to wonder what he thought of all the people coming and going.  Rockport has the friendliest bait stalls I have seen and it’s always fun to chat with the local shrimpers to see what the latest news is.
