https://trevabrandonscharf.com/8ffqdz3 Just saw that The Horseman’s Yankee Pedlar ran another feature I wrote in their April issue, titled ‘Back in Action‘. The article focuses on riders who have been injured – either in the saddle or out of it – and who have bounced back to be competitive at or beyond their earlier riding level.
watchfollow url The article gave me a chance to interview some fascinating individuals, including three young riders. Youth riders hold a special spot in my heart as I taught a selection of young riders a long time ago. Something about the passion that these kids bring to their riding… to them the horses truly are something out of a story book.

In the meantime I’m selling many of my worldly possessions, working out a packing list, and getting on the docket for vaccinations. Any free time is spent out and about Austin, camera in tow. I have a cowboy wedding to shoot this Saturday that I’m very much looking forward to.
