July 4 hit Craig with a bang, and, as seems to happen in the little fishing village, people celebrated with everything they had.
It was an evening of fireworks, BBQs, fishing tales and cheap beer.
Burning Stetsons, too. Kind of had to be there for that one.
Nothing like celebrating our independence with the best a Montana small town has to offer. Talk about a slice of Americana.
People lines the roadways, settling down in truck beds, chairs, rafts and drift boats to watch the show.
Kids were seen running rampant, wearing either Wranglers and cowboy hats or miniature versions of Columbia fishing shirts and quick-dry pants. One little fellow even had his life vest on from the day’s float.
Hey, whatever works for you. I’ve seen odder things wandering Montana streets.
You can read a bit more about it here on the Headhunter, or be sure to check out Chi Wulff tomorrow for a full report!
