As a kid, I would pour over the most recent issue of Outside Magazine, dreaming about global adventure, climbing huge mountains, and rafting the big rivers of the world. Fast forward now, to age 28, and I’m lucky enough to see some corners of the world I’d only ever seen on maps (and maybe not, even then).
I’ve been thrilled to work with the fantastic editorial team at Outside Online to put together a short story and photo essay featuring my most recent trip — a fly-fishing expedition to Samoa. It was a rough trip — sometimes things don’t come together as planned — but we made the most of it.
