Saturday dawned humid and drizzly. In the afternoon the sun decided to make an appearance and turn the outdoors into a sauna.
It made me all the more impressed with the horses and riders who turned out for a Central Texas Dressage Society show.
Having ridden and trained dressage as a former career, it is always a delight to watch others pursue the sport. This show had a fantastic young rider turnout – something that the sport desperately needs more of!
I came back sweaty, smelling like horses, and with close to 900 images to process and sort. A good day at work.
Many thanks to the management and riders of the CTDS for having me out. It was a pleasure and I look forward to next time!
