Choral of the Bells

Ice bells on the Madison River in Yellowstone National Park.

This image is always a favorite print at art shows.  The uniqueness of the scene catches the viewer’s eye, and the quiet coloring allows for the bell-like ice to jump out.  The lacey ice along the bottom of the left hand bell appears so delicate it would shatter if touched.

The gurgling water, the cleanliness of the rocks in the mountain stream, and the cloudy nature of the ice are yet more examples of nature’s beauty.  Scenes do not have to be grand or large to be appreciated.  Sometimes the small things can be the best…

Wow… neat picture. I like the colors and the motion – very relaxing. I may need to get a print for my yoga studio!
