Shooting in the Snow

by Editor on December 30, 2009

When you live in Montana, sometimes you just have to go out and shoot, no matter what the weather.  Christmas Day provided a refreshing respite from the hectic pace of daily life, and my family and I packed up assorted weaponry collected from everyone’s houses and made the trek to one of the local shooting ranges.  Temps were a might chilly at around 20 degrees with wind chill well below zero (hence the warm snow boots!) but, as always, a trip to the range was relaxing and oh-so-worth-it.

Shotguns, pistols, snow, and a camera are the makings of a good day.  More images to come as I process through the batch; this is one of the “accessory shots”.
