Must Read – Seth Godin on Micro Magazines

We’re skipping the quote of the week this week in favor of an insightful blog post by marketing guru Seth Godin.  I’ve posted about Seth a few times… he continues to be ahead of the curve in the marketing world and is always a positive force (which can be somehow hard to find these days!).

Seth’s post yesterday was titled “Micro magazines and a future of media”.  Having dabbled in online publishing, the post was of great interest to me.  Seth talks about the benefits of online magazines – “micro” magazines being those that are focused on a small, specialized subject and that appeal therefore to a small, specialized group of people.

The media world is changing and this is an exciting time for all of us… let’s embrace the change and start to work smarter, not harder.
