The grass was green, the flowers were blooming, and the Madison River was roaring. Light deep in the canyon was iffy, so instead of shooting the river action shots I had planned it was time to improvise. Time for some close up shots of the surrounding flora. I snapped the little lens on and went to work – with some surprising results.
