Just saw on ChiWulff that Arnold Richardson, the man who played the aged Norman in the movie version of the classic “A River Runs Through It” passed away. I remember watching that movie as a kid – and many times as an adult – and watching stupefied as the “old man” continued to fish with such heart and passion. You can read more about Mr. Richardson, including a great story from a man lucky enough to fish with him, on ChiWulff.
Wrapped up the end of my first workday in Colorado less than an hour ago. I’m wiped out – had forgotten what an issue altitude acclimatization can be – but damn happy to be here and working on a new and exciting project. Horses – and dressage – are a bit like photography to me. They’ve become such a part of me that any time spent with them is good for the soul.
Have a pot of red tea brewing on the stove and am preparing to spend several hours preparing entries for the photography contest season about to begin.
It never ends.
Thankfully.
