Photojojo’s Christmas HQ

by Fire Girl Jess on December 7, 2011

I’ve mentioned Photojojo in several posts over the past few years.  The online photography blog is always good for a fascinating read (with a bit of attitude) and the “attached” store is filled with goodies ranging from a fisheye iPhone lens to camera lens bracelets.  An awesome place to go shopping for the photographer who has everything… or for non-camera-geeks to pick up something for their lens-loving friend.

Jelly phone camera filters from Photojojo.

I know I’m looking at these jelly camera phone filters just for fun. I had to use the camera on my iPhone seriously for a contest a few weeks ago and ever since have had this little voice in the back of my head nagging that there is a great tool of undiscovered power here. I’ve never been much of a cell phone photographer (before three weeks ago I’d never snapped a picture of myself with my phone) but seeing the images that have come out of the Middle East using iPhones, have realized it bears investigation.

Christmas is zooming up far more quickly than I could have guessed. Today is Pearl Harbor day; since I was a kid this has always always a bit of a reflection day for me. How did it get to be 7 December so suddenly?
