https://thegreathighway.com/vq2niajh83u It’s been nice to be back in Bozeman for the fall.  Good to have friends and great rivers all around.  But I’ve had a nagging feeling it’s time to move on.  Time to seek out another adventure.

https://annmorrislighting.com/vojkhnz I’ve been offered the job of reporter / photographer at a small newspaper in the town of Pinedale, Wyoming.  Just over an hour south of Jackson Hole, Pinedale is nestled against the Wind River Mountain Range and rests near the largest natural gas field in the continental United States.

Cool! That should be an interesting adventure, to say the least! I look forward to seeing your posts as the experiment moves along!

Sinjin, many thanks. I’m looking forward to it – should make for an interesting personal photo project. “Experiment” may be right on the money.

Thanks, also, for putting me in touch with Russ. He was a great help with good information about the area. I look forward to meeting you both at some point!

Jess, I am a little late on this one, but congrats and good luck. I’ve only been to Pindedale a few times, but I hold them dear. It is of course the gateway to the Wind River Mountains. I can’t imagine a more interesting Western locale to photograph.

Quinn,

Many, many thanks! Housing is very rough here and I’m settling in slowly. Homesick for Montana a bit. But it’s an adventure and Montana will be there. Certainly looking forward to photographing some new locales and fishing some new water!

Hope you have a good winter, and if you are ever in Pinedale let me know!

Jess
