Vermont, I Kind of Like You

follow Week one in Vermont is coming to a close.  It’s hard to believe I limped in last Friday in sub-zero temps.  It’s been busy – setting up utilities, coordinating the moving truck, getting the Suby fixed and trying to catch up freelance work.

follow Glad you’re enjoying VT. Manchester is a nifty little spot.

https://domainebregeon.com/jyg599iahyc Nearby is a small state park, Emerald Lake State Park. Emerald Lake is small but pretty. Take a canoe when the weather turns warm for the first time after ice-out. The end of the lake opposite the put-in is lousy with smallmouth bass. Fish with a moderately light rod and some small poppers! You’ll have a blast, especially if you’re not accustomed to smallmouth.

get link (There are also some fairly large, but not gigantic, pike in that lake.)
