Perspective

This picture was taken in the Madison Valley last week.  A “severe clear” was moving out, replaced by decks of clouds bringing in snow showers.  The cold caused a unique band of clouds to settle along the base of the Tobacco Roots Mountains and the sky was pink and periwinkle.

While the trip resulted in some more traditional shots of the winter sunset (to be posted later), this one stands out.  Shooting through the old corrals allows for a unique perspective, and the misty mountains in the background draw the eye.  So many lines between the barbed wire, the fencing, and the gate…
