It’s wishful thinking, I guess.  Another cloudy day with temperatures in the low 40s has dawned here in Bozeman and the rivers are blown.  Time to pull up some fishing images from last summer and remind myself that, yes indeed, we will someday get into summer… and fishing season.

https://gungrove.com/p5m33po90k This shot is from a summer float on the Madison.  Stationed on the back deck of the cataraft, I had a pretty good view of what was going on and was definitely enjoying some summer sunshine.  One of the guys had hooked this big Brown and was slowly bringing him in.  He dipped under the boat and I was able to get a shot as he came out right under me.  I love how the water magnifies his eye and distorts the body.
