https://aaerj.org.br/2024/05/13/5dlmc3pl2j There are several things that I really do love about moving.  Sure, the change of locations is nice.  New territory to explore and new images to capture.  New people to meet and network with.  The best thing about moving, though, is the realization that I really can operate and indeed be quite happy with very little material items at all.  Give me the basics and I am a happy camper.

https://emduk.org/eqjf46j During the 35-hour non-stop solo drive from Bozeman to Austin I had plenty of time to contemplate my gear.  I had four bags sharing the front seat of my Subaru with me.  One big Lowepro shoulder bag held my camera, lenses, laptop, digital voice recorder, and various cords.  My secondary camera bag held two external hard drives and the assorted cords well nestled within its padded interior.  A third bag – this one a TimBuk2 messenger bag – held assorted weaponry and things that simply could not be left unattended.  The fourth and final bag – a Kelty daypack – held a change of clothes and contact lens solution.  Somewhere at about the 1,000-mile mark (in the middle of the night somewhere in New Mexico) I realized that I could live out of these four bags for any amount of time and be perfectly happy.  Mobility – it’s a beautiful thing.

https://domainebregeon.com/ekwkpl1 It’s all too easy to get bogged down in gear and “fluff” especially, it seems, in the photography world.  There is always some new piece of gear that is faster, stronger, and more powerful than the gear you have at the moment.  New lenses to play with.  New bags the fill.  I freely admit that I am as guilty as anyone, spending hours looking through the latest B&H catalogue and dreaming.  But there is a definite beauty to keeping your kit minimal, knowing the ins-and-outs of your gear, and going light.  Staying portable and mobile.

Cheap Alprazolam Online In other news, I am in Austin for the moment and will be working the Texas / Gulf coast area quite aggressively over the next 12-36 months.  I am still available for assignment at any time with short notice.  My final destination in Texas (somewhere along the southern coast) is currently battened down due to the small inconvenience of a hurricane, but I should be down in south Texas with a week or so.
