Hard to believe I have been down south for sixteen days – life in Montana seems both like a long time ago and only a day ago. I’m still adjusting to the heat and getting used to it being in the high eighties when I wake up in the morning!

Kandi is a dog trainer in the area and needed some images of her dog, Zany, doing tricks and showing off her good manners. Zany ended up being a very photogenic pup and our morning session in Auditorium Shores along the banks of the Colorado River produced some fun images. Zany was the first dog I have photographed; it was great fun and I look forward to more dogs in the future!

I’ll be moving over the next few days and look forward to exploring some new territory.
