The Lamar River flows through Yellowstone National Park.
All right, I have had several emails asking where I am now and what is going on with Fire Girl Photography. Here are a few answers:
– I am based out of Austin, Texas for the moment.
– Yes, I still specialize in editorial and commercial work, though I have been receiving more and more requests for specialty portraits and am opening up a few spots for this.
– The West, especially Montana, will continue to be my real “home base”. I will be making trips back up there several times a year and will be able to fulfill assignments in the area as desired.
Exciting things are happening here – the last few months have really thrown me for a loop but I feel like I am landing on my feet and pushing through. This experience has made me discover some new interests and has reaffirmed my desire to chase photojournalism as a career.
So many stories out there are not being told.

I only know it will be an adventure.
