An old man enjoys a quiet moment near Three Dollar Bridge on the Madison River in Montana.
Ol’ man river.
That ol’ man river.
He must know somethin’.
But he don’t say nothin’.
That ol’ man river he just keeps rollin’ along.
I was working with the Dry Fly Media team last fall on Montana’s Madison River when I spotted this old man. He never really got his boots wet and fished, though he was certainly dressed and more than fully outfitted for the occasion.
Sometimes one just needs to listen to the river.
