click here Day one of SXSW was a success – after driving around downtown for an hour and a half I finally found a place to park. The worst part of the day was over!
https://photovisions.ca/60bqi03i I wandered around a bit and shot some street photography… Austin does draw a fascinating crowd, especially during SXSW. I could be perfectly happy just sitting by the sidewalk and shooting pictures of people walking by.
watch But duty called, as it always does.
https://annmorrislighting.com/i4gpqpulf Discovered the music of Brite Futures when I attended their show and had an interview / quick photo session with them afterwards. This band is one to watch! I saw more happy, jiving bodies in that bar than the entire rest of the day put together. With an electro-popster / grunge rock sound and a positive attitude that carries off the stage, Brite Futures was certainly the highlight of the day.
