source It’s official this morning – I’ve joined the Texas ShelterBox Ambassador team!  I’ll be joining a team of twelve others in the state – incredible men and women, many of whom I met this spring at the Ambassador Field Training session held here in Texas.

https://www.mreavoice.org/vucdx18 We’re asked to “be the face of ShelterBox in our communities” –  to make both groups and individuals aware of the ShelterBox mission.  Basically growing public awareness through presentations and speaking arrangements with groups in the area.  Central Texas readers -especially if I’ve already spoken to you about photography or outdoor sport –  I’d love to come speak to your group!  The fall schedule is filling up, so please don’t hesitate to shoot me an email.

follow link I’m very excited about this step – hopefully the first step in the process of working to be a ShelterBox Response Team member that deploys into the field.  There is some deep irony that public speaking – such an anathema as a child, is becoming such a large part of my life.
